Life Lessons adds new personal masteries. If the research system of Rimworld represents the collective knowledge of the colony, and the colonist Skill system represents the personal talent of a colonist, then Life Lesson's proficiencies represent the personal knowledge of the colonist. This mod will only trigger a normal "wanderer joins" event after all of your colonists have already died and your game would otherwise be over, and it does it every time. This mod will add the concept of proficiencies to the game. Ditto here, but with 150 (ish) on my current base. It gives you a chance to prevent all of your colonists from dying. The Man in Black is an event that has a small chance of occurring once per game where a heroic man in black joins your colony if all of your colonists are downed but not dead. This mod adds a player home made for a raider under the bridge near the. In the mission I described above, it utterly nailed the premise, with truly emotional situations that create genuine tension and, at times, panic. If there is already a "wanderer joins" event scheduled within x ticks, that is simply allowed to happen. RimWorld is a story generator, through and through. X = the maximum number of ticks before a wanderer joins, which is a day by default but can be changed in settings.
